At present, there are two main methods to synthesize Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate at home and abroad: direct acylation and group protection.
Direct acylation

Process
Use pyridine, sodium carbonate and magnesium oxide as catalysts. Then synthesize Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate.
First convert VC into 5,6-0 isopropyl-l ascorbic acid; then use pyridine and potassium hydroxide as catalysts. After phosphorylation, protective groups are removed by hydrogen type strong acid anion exchange resin column; and then convert into magnesium salt.
